We have a management group meeting that we would normally do by teleconference, although we have face-to-face meetings on occasion.
Unfortunately this particular meeting was an important one. There were a lot of decisions to be made before we could proceed with work, but various managers weren't available.
They sent proxies in their place, but these proxies weren't really up to date with what was really happening. They hadn't been briefed well enough, so the meeting pretty well fell apart, because the decisions couldn't be made, and that just delays everything.
