Application procedures for international students

Step 1
Prepare a letter of application, listing the course you wish to undertake and attach your curriculum vitae.  This should include your name, address, date of birth, nationality, passport number (if known), educational and employment background and level of English language.  This should be sent to International Programs, South West Institute of TAFE, PO Box 674, Warrnambool Victoria 3280, Australia.

Step 2
Successful applicants will receive a Letter of Offer and Acceptance Advice Form.  These documents will list enrolment fees, course start date and finish dates and how to pay your course fees.

Step 3
Sign and return the Acceptance Advice Form and pay enrolment fees.  Please note that enrolment fees can be paid by instalment.

Step 4
Once your enrolment fees have been processed, you will be sent an Electronic Confirmation of Enrolment (eCoE) letter which will officially confirm your enrolment and allow you to proceed with your student visa application.

Step 5
Apply for your student visa with the Department of Immigration and Multicultural and Indigenous Affairs.  Let us know the result of your application as soon as possible.  Further visa information can be gained at the following websites:
