Student Association
The South West Institute of TAFE Student Association Inc (SWITSA) is the independent organisation of the students of South West Institute of TAFE and is governed by the Student Representative Council (SRC). All students enrolled with the Institute are eligible members of SWITSA for the current calendar year. Students may elect not to become members of the Association or to resign their membership at any time.
Student Representative Council
The Student Representative Council (SRC) is the governing body of SWITSA. Membership of the SRC is drawn from the full student body with each South West Institute of TAFE Teaching Centre entitled to have Student Representatives on the SRC. The SRC gains feedback and input from the student body and works closely with the Student Activities Team (SAT) to provide a range of extra-curricular needs of students focusing on socialisation, community participation and general good fun.
Students are encouraged to become representatives on the SRC and to drop in at the Student Activities Team office with suggestions or ideas for activities.
