Student Activities

The South West Institute of TAFE Activities team caters for the extra-curricular needs of students. Activities Officers are located at all campuses and organise activities and events for students throughout the year which include:

• Bands during lunchtimes and evenings
• Free or low cost food days
• Entertainers
• Trips and camps
• Competitions

Other Student Activities services include:

• Newsletter - The Missing Link -the voice of the students at South West Institute of TAFE, published each week during term
• Student Casual Employment Program (SCEP) – SWITSA operates the Institute’s casual employment program assisting students to ‘earn while they learn’
• Free SWTAFE student diaries
