Enrolment Cancellation

This form is to be used when you are cancelling your total enrolment in a
course. You should discuss your enrolment cancellation with your
teacher/coordinator before submitting it. The Institute has a wide range of
support and counselling services available to students. Accessing these services
before you cancel your enrolment may be worthwhile.
Once you have filled out the form and had it authorised by your coordinator you
must submit it to the
Student Management office in Warrnambool or the Reception Desk at any campus.
Depending on when you cancel your enrolment you may be eligible for a refund.
The State Government’s withdrawal policy allows for:
A student who officially withdraws within four weeks of the course commencing in
order to take up a place at another tertiary institution will receive a full
refund of all fees paid. The letter of offer from the tertiary institution will
need to be provided.
A student who officially withdraws within four weeks of course commencement for
other reasons will receive a refund of fees paid less $50.00 (minimum tuition
fee).
Students who withdraw within the first four weeks, but do not complete an
Enrolment Cancellation form until later, will not receive a refund.
A student who cancels after four weeks of the course commencing will not receive
a refund. It is the responsibility of the student to withdraw from a course by
completing an Enrolment Cancellation form.
All refunds will be payable by cheque.
