Concessions

To claim concession fees, you must be:

  • Eligible for a government subsidised place in a Certificate I to IV course for which you are enrolling, and
  • In receipt of a valid Health Care Card, Pensioner Concession Card or Veterans Gold Card (or their dependent children or spouse).

You will need to be able to produce evidence of your concession prior to the student’s course commencement date otherwise full fees will be charged.  The Institute is required to take a photocopy of your card at the time of enrolment and retain this on your student file.

Upon proof of eligible concession your fees will be reduced to an amount of 20% of the original full fee.

You will also be eligible to pay a minimum general service fee of $55.

Concessions fees do not apply to the Tuition component of the fee at any level (Certificate I to Advanced Diploma), if your tuition component is being paid by a Commonwealth Government Agency or as part of a Commonwealth program or initiative.  You can however, still claim the concession fee rate for the General Service Fee component of your fees.
