What are the policies on disabilities?

The Institute is committed to implementing our policy for the removal of social, physical, academic, and vocational barriers. A policy for people who have disabilities is available from the Disability Liaison Officer 5564 8964.

What are the policies on discrimination?

Any barriers to educational opportunity that prevent or make difficult the achievement of educational goals by students could be discriminatory. If you believe you are being discriminated against contact the Student Counsellor 5564 8924 or 5564 8964.

What are the policies on domestic violence?

If you are experiencing domestic violence, contact the Student Counsellor on 5564 8924 or Domestic Violence Outreach Program 5561 1934.

What are the policies on equal opportunity?

The South West Institute of TAFE Equal Opportunity policy affirms a commitment to the goals of equal opportunity and will work towards achieving an environment free of discrimination in the area of employment and education for present or future staff and students.  See also Student Policies and Procedures.

Can I smoke?

There is a no smoking policy in all Institute buildings and vehicles.
