Interlibrary Loans

Interlibrary loans is a service used to access resources which are not available within the Library but are needed for study or research purposes. This service is only available to South West TAFE staff and students.

Items which can be obtained include books, periodical articles, videos, conference proceedings and reports. Complete periodical issues cannot be borrowed.

Before requesting an Interlibrary loan:

  • Check if the item you require is already available at the South West TAFE  by searching the Library CATALOGUE

  • South West TAFE staff and students, also, have reciprocal borrowing rights at the Deakin University Warrnambool Campus. On presentation of your student or staff card you are able to borrow from the Deakin Warrnambool collection. To see if the item you require is available there, search the DEAKIN CATALOGUE

  • For videos from Australian Centre for the Moving Image (previously known as Cinemedia) - check ACMI CATALOGUE

Making a request

Fill in the appropriate form below to make a request. If you are requesting a periodical article for the first time you must fill in an electronic declaration form.

Be aware that items may take 10-14 days to receive and some items do come with a charge which may be passed onto the requestor. You will be notified if a charge is involved before the item is obtained.
