Course Content
The facilities are state of the art technology and equipment, and
purpose-built workshops that provide hands-on training for
students; the perfect ingredient for trade-based learning.
Building students train using the latest construction equipment,
including
scaffolding
laser levels
power tools
hand tools

Course Description
This course provides vocational training for people seeking a
career in the buidling industry, particularly in the carpentry
fields. The main aim of the course is to develop your hand skills
to a level accepted by industry. You will be constructing a full
size domestic house or similar from ground to completion.

Career Opportunities
Graduates may pursue a career in the building industry. This
course is a pathway to an apprenticeship within the building
industry.

February and July 2010.

Course Length
This course is delivered full-time over 16 weeks.

Entry Requirements
There are no formal entry requirements for this course. All
applicants must be at least 16 years of age.
