This qualification reflects the role of individuals who apply a broad range of competencies in various medical administration contexts. They may exercise discretion and judgement using appropriate knowledge to provide technical advice and support to a team.

Off Campus Enrolment
Off-campus enrolments can be completed at the Off-Campus Centre in Warrnambool, or at the Customer Service Centres located at the Hamilton, Portland or Glenormiston Campus of South West TAFE. It is recommended that students enrol in just one or two units on initial enrolment. Further units can be added to enrolments during the year.
Credits/Exemptions
Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) is an assessment process that assesses the individual’s non-accredited training and informal learning to determine the extent to which that individual has achieved the required learning or competency outcomes. RPL is sometimes referred to as Recognition of Current Competence (RCC). You can undertake a recognition assessment for individual units in most courses offered through South West TAFE. The process requires you to be able to provide evidence of competence.
