Overall Aim
Students will develop basic communication skills in Auslan (Australian Sign Language) enabling them to exchange personal information with other signers.
Students will be involved in structured pair and group activities which model ‘real life’ exchange of information. Students will develop a basic vocabulary in this area and the ability to ask and respond to questions.
This course includes two units from the Certificate II in Auslan and graduates will gain credit towards this qualification.
