Overall Aim
If you have an interest in welding and would like to learn the basics of several welding processes, this introductory course is ideal. It provides a fun, practical insight for the novice welder or anyone with limited experience.
Course Description
Designed for the beginner and incorporates the safe operation in both theory and practical classes students learn how to weld using manual Arc welding, Mig welding, Tig welding and oxy cutting processes. This course includes units from the Certificate II in Engineering (Production Technology) (MEM 20205) and graduates will gain credit towards this qualification.

Each Tuesday starting
2nd February to 22nd June 2010
(one semester)
Each Wednesday starting
3rd February to 23 June 2010
