Course Description
This course reflects the cross-industry application of the work functions normally undertaken by a project team, spanning all phases of a project from concept through to close-out. You will gain valuable skills, including setting time lines, and targets, project costing and budget management, quality control, communicating with key stakeholders and recruiting/leading appropriately skilled personnel to work on the project.

Graduates will possess the skills and knowledge to seek employment as a Project Coordinator, Project Management Officer, Project Team Member or Project/Program Administrator.

Credits/Exemptions
Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) is an assessment process that assesses the individual’s non-accredited training and informal learning to determine the extent to which that individual has achieved the required learning or competency outcomes. RPL is sometimes referred to as Recognition of Current Competence (RCC).
You can undertake a recognition assessment for individual units in most courses offered through South West TAFE. The process requires you to be able to provide evidence of competence.
