Course Description
This course is offered to those people who are involved in the agriculture or agriculture services industries who want to increase their business skills and knowledge on business practices. Study areas include monitoring business performance, OH&S, price risk strategies, feeding plans, marketing, administration, financial management, risk management and human resource management.

Graduates may pursue careers in managing or owning an enterprise or work within the agriculture service industry

Course Length
This course is offered in part-time flexible learning only and is suitable for someone with sound practical agricultural skills looking to improve their management and financial knowledge and skills

Entry Requirements
Applicants must have completed Year 12 or equivalent or a minimum of Certificate III in Agriculture. Applicants with industry experience are encouraged to apply.

Eligibilty and Exemptions to Receive a Government Subsidised Place
To receive a government subsidised place, students who enrol in Diploma and Advanced Diploma courses are subject to meeting eligibility criteria such as age and prior educational history. If applicants do not meet the eligibility criteria then they may still apply for the course, but they will not be entitled to a government subsidised place and will be charged a commercial fee. There will be some exceptional circumstances where applicants will be exempt from meeting the eligibility criteria. Please contact the Customer Service Centre on (03) 5564 8911 for more information with regards to eligibility.

To apply for this course the applicant will be required to complete a Course Application Form. These forms are available from the Course Coordinator or our Customer Service Centre (03) 5564 8911. Alternatively you can download the form using the Application button at the top of this brochure. Contact the Course Coordinator for the closing date for this course. Any applications received after this date will be classified as late applications and will only be considered if vacancies still exist or become available at a later date.
