Our trainers have strong community networks to ensure students gain hands-on experience in a range of work environments. An example is our partnership with Warrnambool City Council’s Children’s Services Centre and the internationally acclaimed Fun4Kids Festival. A number of our programs offer advanced standing credits at university, giving you the opportunity to work in the industry while completing higher studies. Our health and fitness programs are highly regarded and well recognised by industry for the practical training our students receive; many people are employed in anticipation of graduation. Students train using the latest facilities and equipment. Hamilton and Warrnambool campuses boast purpose-built rooms for nursing students, massage students will enjoy our fully functioning hair and beauty salon Verdé, whilst sport and fitness students will train in the fully equipped Ignition Gym at the Warrnambool Campus. To meet industry demand we offer many places in our courses reducing the skills shortage in the region. Our Allied Health Assistance course is a prime example of the Institute’s ability to design industryspecific training that meets the growing needs of the region.
