What is skills recognition?
Skills Recognition is :
- Evidence of your skills and knowledge for current and future employers
- A process which can open new opportunities for you
- The documentation of your skills and knowledge
- The identification of your skills gaps
The process of Skills Recognition uses several methodsto gather, measure and assess your skills and knowledge,
including :
Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) or Recognition of
Current Competency (RCC)
RPL/RCC acknowledges and recognises what you
have already learnt from work experience and life
experience.
Credit transfer
Credit transfer recognises and grants status or credit for
skills and knowledge gained via other forms of formal
study or education at South West TAFE or other training
organisation.
