Hiring facilities
South West Institute of TAFE offers hundreds of nationally accredited programs, from short courses to traineeships and apprenticeships in a number of fields including health & community studies, business & IT, building & plumbing and science & food technology.
Because of the range and number of courses we offer, the facilities available for external hire are extensive, whether it be a one on one video conference or a meeting for 150 people we have the capabilities of catering for your requirements.
Facilities
The Warrnambool campus of South West Institute of TAFE has a range of rooms and facilities suitable for all types of conferences and meetings. State of the art facilities include:- Video Conferencing facilities for local, interstate or international communication
- Lecture Theatre (seats up to 100 people)
- Conference room capable of holding up to 200 people
- Computer Labs with the latest hardware & software
- On site Canteen, catering delivered to the room. Tea & coffee facilities provided on request
- Library & Flexible Learning Centre with print and electronic resources
- Automotive, building and engineering workshops
- Science labs
- General classrooms
- General purpose teaching & meeting areas
- Air conditioned and heated rooms available.
Location
South West Institute of TAFE’s Warrnambool campus is situated in the centre of the city. We are in close proximity of the Warrnambool train station, which has regular trains to and from Melbourne. The campus is ideally located close to the cities facilities and many accommodation outlets (recommendations can be made).
Meeting your Requirements
We can provide the following extra requirements/equipment to your meeting room upon request:
- On site Canteen & Coffee shop (catering can be delivered to the room).
- Tea & Coffee will be arranged at request and Catering is available from either on site or off site caterers.
- Equipment hire including overhead projectors, video units, slide projectors, audio cassette players and video camera.
