About us

The Hamilton Campus offers a wide variety of educational programs and innovative training that have been implemented to support the needs of the industries and individuals of the local community.

Courses include Business, Information Technology, Multimedia, Aged Care, Nursing, Wool classing, Automotive, Welding and Industry Skills
In addition to our On-Campus courses, we also offer a wide range of Off Campus programs, as well as a range of Short Courses.
A wide range of VETiS (Vocational Education and Training in School) programs such as Automotive, Engineering, Multimedia and Building are available to enable students from the local Secondary schools to participate in courses that can be part of their VCE(Victorian Certificate of Education)/VCAL (Victorian Certificate of Applied Learning).

Equipment and software is frequently updated to ensure that South West TAFE students develop their knowledge and skills using the latest methods and the most up to date technology available.

The atmosphere at the Hamilton Campus is both friendly and inviting. The administration and teaching staff are easily accessible and are always willing to provide support and guidance which is needed to ensure each student gets the most from their time at SW TAFE.
